Hi, I'm Louis. I'm a product designer and software engineer based in Singapore. I enjoy building things. I spent nearly a decade living in Silicon Valley, working at various startups and eventually started my own.

Currently, I'm building software for factories.

Selected work

Span

Contractor
May 2023 – August 2023

Span empowers R&D leaders help their teams perform at their highest potential by combining metrics and survey data.

I designed their first MVP from scratch and collaborated with the team to build the first version that customers used. I created their initial design system, including various form components for the survey product and data visualizations for the analytics product.

BitGo

VP Design
February 2020 – April 2023

BitGo is a leading provider of digital asset financial services. It offers institutional clients secure custody, multi-signature wallets, and cold storage for cryptocurrencies, ensuring safe and compliant digital asset transactions.

I led the product and brand design teams after the acquisition of Lumina while also acting as an individual contributor. I helped with the transition from Angular to React, supported brand design efforts in the Galaxy rebrand during the tentative sale of BitGo to Galaxy, and collaborated on the design system while delivering a complete redesign of all client facing products.

Lumina

Co-founder
June 2018 – February 2020

Lumina was a digital asset management platform that standardized blockchain data for real-time insights and ensured compliance tax reporting for crypto enterprises.

I co-founded and led marketing, brand design, product design, and most of front-end development. Raised a $4M seed round led by Craft Ventures and then sold to BitGo, one of the biggest digital asset custodians.
